Snow Castle
Snow Castle is a winter festival app concept that streamlines ticketing, navigation, and live event updates through an accessible, voice-enabled experience.

Overview
Snow Castle is a conceptual mobile application designed for a fictional winter festival in Edmonton, Alberta. Created as a UX/UI design project, the app explores how digital experiences can improve event navigation, ticket purchasing, accessibility, and visitor engagement.
The design addresses common event challenges, including scattered information, long entry lines, difficulty navigating large venues, and limited real-time updates. The proposed solution combines event schedules, ticket purchasing, digital ticket storage, interactive maps, live notifications, and attraction information into a single mobile experience.
A key feature of the concept is a Hands-Free Mode that uses voice commands to support navigation in cold winter conditions, allowing visitors to interact with the app without removing gloves. Additional features include QR-based ticket scanning, sculpture information scanning, freebie redemption, live music schedules, and raffle participation.
This project demonstrates user-centered design principles, accessibility considerations, user flow development, and cross-platform mobile interface design. Through research-driven UX decisions and visual design exploration, the Snow Castle Experience App reimagines how technology can enhance the winter festival experience.
