CURB IT 2.0
Curb It 2.0 is a UX redesign focused on improving waste sorting, sustainability awareness, and community engagement.

Overview
Curb It 2.0 is a UX case study that reimagines the City of St. John's waste management app to improve usability, increase resident engagement, and promote sustainable waste disposal practices. While the existing application primarily provides waste collection reminders, the redesign explores how digital tools can encourage food waste diversion and educate residents about bioenergy initiatives.
Using the Double Diamond design process, I conducted surveys, user interviews, competitive analysis, and stakeholder research to identify user needs and opportunities for improvement. The project included the development of personas, empathy maps, user journeys, affinity diagrams, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Through usability testing, A/B testing, and heuristic evaluation, the final design evolved into a user-centered solution that supports accessibility, sustainability, and community participation.
